OCR document processing

Turn a scanned document into structured data, not a re-typing job.

Not every toll bill or citation arrives as a clean CSV export. When it doesn't, Kelviz's OCR pipeline reads the scanned document and extracts the fields that matter — amount, date, plate or transponder — so you're reviewing extracted data instead of transcribing a PDF by hand.

Extraction, then review — not extraction as final answer

OCR output is a starting point, not a silent commit. Extracted fields are shown for confirmation before anything is matched to a reservation or billed to a guest, the same way an uncertain toll match lands in a review queue rather than being guessed at.

Works with the same review workflow as everything else

An OCR-processed document flows into the same reconciliation and reimbursement pipeline as a CSV-imported toll transaction — there's no separate system to learn for documents versus data exports.

Frequently asked questions

What document types can be processed?

Toll bills and parking/traffic ticket citations that arrive as scanned images or PDFs rather than structured data exports.

Does OCR ever bill a guest automatically without review?

No — extracted data is presented for confirmation before it's matched to a reservation or included in guest billing.
