When to use this instead of a toll import
Use this for parking tickets, traffic citations, and toll invoices from providers other than your connected toll accounts. Toll transactions from a connected E-ZPass/SunPass/etc. account come in through Toll Reconciliation's CSV import instead.
Steps

Go to Tickets in the sidebar and select Upload a document.

Drag and drop the file, click to browse, or select Take a photo to capture it with your device camera.

Wait for processing.
Kelviz preprocesses the image, runs OCR, classifies the document type, and extracts fields — typically well under a minute.
Expected result
A draft charge is created and shows a status of Extracted or Needs review. The upload page itself is a read-only preview — go to the ticket's own page (see Review OCR-extracted fields) to edit fields, match it, or approve it.
Common errors
- "Only JPEG, PNG, HEIC, or PDF files are allowed."
- Convert the file to one of those formats.
- "File must be 25MB or smaller."
- Compress the file or split a multi-page scan into single pages — each upload is one page.
