Turo Fleet Data-Quality Checklist Before Guest Billing
Before billing a guest, verify the entire chain from source document to reimbursement case — a clean total isn't enough.

Before billing a guest for a toll or ticket, verify the entire chain from source document to reimbursement case — a clean-looking dashboard total is not the same thing as a verified billable charge, and treating it as one is how avoidable disputes happen.
Vehicle, reservation, transaction, and citation
Confirm the correct vehicle and historical plate, the correct transponder assignment at the actual event time, exact trip start and end, actual possession reviewed near any boundary, and no unresolved overlapping reservation. Then confirm the transaction or citation itself: an official provider or agency source, the correct event date/time/location, the correct amount, no duplicate transaction or notice, and every OCR-extracted field confirmed against the original document.
Eligibility, evidence, case, and deadline
The charge needs to be guest-related under Turo's current policy, with host or operational use excluded, unsupported penalties excluded, evidence readable and complete, and unrelated account or guest data minimized. On the case side: exactly one reimbursement case, the line total equal to the requested total, the current Turo deadline verified rather than assumed, and submission and outcome statuses kept distinct from each other.
Final approval, and when to pause instead of guess
Record the reviewer, the approval date, any exceptions, and any manual correction made along the way — that record is what makes an approval defensible later, not just a formality. If the evidence is weak anywhere in the chain, pause the charge rather than guess and hope it holds up; Kelviz's Data Quality review queue resolves the underlying data issue and removes it from the queue automatically — there's no separate "dismiss" action that lets a real problem get waved through.
