Transponder assignments
Mount toll transponders onto vehicles so the matching engine can use them.

Bulk import is the only way to assign one today
There's no form to mount a single transponder onto a single vehicle — assignment happens through the CSV/Excel importer on a toll account's page, even for one transponder at a time. Required columns are Transponder number and License plate; Status is optional, and only active vehicles are assigned.
Steps
- 1
Open the toll account the transponder belongs to.
- 2
Select Import transponders.
- 3
Upload a roster file with Transponder number and License plate columns.
- 4
Review the per-row result: Assigned, Skipped (inactive), or Rejected.
Expected result
Each assigned transponder shows on its vehicle's page and on the toll account's transponder list, and becomes the strongest signal the matching engine uses for that vehicle's tolls.
Common errors
- A row is "Skipped (inactive)."
- The matching license plate belongs to a vehicle that isn't Active. Set the vehicle's status to Active, then re-import.
