Understand recovered, pending, and unresolved totals

What the summary numbers on the Reimbursements and Dashboard pages mean.

Case status labels

Trip in progress — the trip hasn't ended yet, so nothing is finalized. Ready to invoice / Ready — matched charges exist and the case can be submitted. Submitted — sent to Turo, awaiting a response. Awaiting payout — approved, payment not yet received. Paid — payout received. Disputed — contested and unresolved. Closed — the case is done, whether or not the full amount was recovered.

Urgency, separate from status

Normal, Approaching deadline, Critical, and Overdue describe how close a case is to its submission window closing (see Track reimbursement submission windows) — a case can be Ready and also Critical if time is short.

Dashboard summary cards

Pending reimbursements, Nearing deadline, and Paid out on the Reimbursements page, and the "Reimbursement pipeline" and "Tickets & toll violations" cards on the Dashboard, are all live counts computed from case and charge statuses — not editable figures.
