Avoid duplicate tickets

Understand the warnings Kelviz shows when a ticket might already be accounted for.

Byte-identical and near-duplicate uploads

Uploading the exact same file twice, or a very similar re-scan of the same document, is flagged automatically before you approve it — this catches the same citation being uploaded more than once by mistake.

Multiple notices for the same citation

A city or agency often mails several notices for one citation (original, reminder, late, final). Kelviz links later notices to the same citation instead of treating each as a separate charge, based on the citation number and agency, or the vehicle/date/amount if the citation number wasn't extracted cleanly.

EZPass / connected toll account cross-check

For a toll invoice or toll violation notice, Kelviz checks whether a matching toll transaction already exists in your connected toll account for that vehicle near the same time. If so, it warns you before you pay a notice for a toll you may have already been billed through E-ZPass.

These are hints, not automatic merges

A duplicate or notice-chain warning is a candidate for you to verify, never an automatic decision — review the source documents before approving or rejecting.
