Import toll transactions and start a reconciliation run
Import a toll provider export, then run the matching engine against your reservations.
Last updated
Who can do this: Owners, admins, and operators can import transactions and trigger a run.
Before you start:
- A toll account already added (see Add a toll account).
- Reservations already imported for the date range the toll export covers.
Steps
- 1
Go to Imports → New import, choose Toll transactions under "What are you importing?", and select the toll account the file is from.
- 2
Upload your file, map the required fields, and select Validate rows.
- 3
Review the row counts, then select Import N rows.
Rows that exactly duplicate a transaction already in Kelviz are automatically excluded from import.
- 4
Go to Reconciliation in the sidebar and select Trigger new run.
Each run only processes toll transactions that haven't been matched yet, so it's safe to run repeatedly as new transactions come in.
Expected result
The run appears in the Reconciliation list with counts of how many transactions were auto-matched, need review, or came back unmatched. Open the run to review individual matches.
Common errors
- A run shows a high "Unmatched" count.
- Usually means the matching reservations haven't been imported yet, or the vehicle/transponder/plate on the transaction doesn't match anything on file. Import the missing reservations or fix the vehicle's plate, then trigger a new run.
